Will there be a Windows build for testing?
We do not have any plans right now to build a windows client. You could use a VM like virtualbox.
Another much lighter weight option for Windows 10 users is Windows System for Linux (WSL). I just installed the software on a Ubuntu 18.04 version of WSL. The node is up and running but it taking a while to sync.

We have seen issues with WSL and do not recommend it yet. It builds and runs fine but some functionality does not quite work; for example we consistently saw “invalid api token” errors when running goal commands. Now that the source is open, maybe someone in the community can debug and fix it.
