Can logic sigs and stateful smart contracts reject transactions made to them?

So the way I understand it, every unique Logic Sig has a unique address. The same goes for Stateful Smart contracts– they have unique addresses as well.

Anyone can send $algo to these addresses because, well, they are just addresses on the blockchain. Is there a way for Logic Sigs or Smart Contracts to reject transactions made to them? I don’t want people to be able to send $algo to these addresses and possibly never recover them again.

No, you cannot prevent any account (normal or logicsig or application account) from receiving Algos.
