Can I have blocks more than 1000 when using non archival mode?

Hello, I’m running an archival node, and I found It is quite burden to my hardware.
Document says none-archival node holds 1000 blocks but I need more than 1000 blocks.

Is there any way to configure this number?

No, you can not configure that number but if you want to be able to read the blockchain while not running an Archival Node up yourself you can use third parties Indexer APIs as a service such as PureStake or Algoexpolorer.
