They have to because that’s what governance is for… if governance cannot decide the best then what’s the point of governance… what matter is awareness about the current tokenomics educating algo users because Most users who buy algorand don’t have deep insight about algorand distribution and I really hope the governance model isn’t centralised else what’s the point voting for something that doesn’t mattee or isn’t useful. We have to be future ready and well funded even after 2030.

Have you posted any questions for Algo Foundation’s “Governance all hands” webinar?
My questions were:

  1. Why the governors’ voting power is proportial to their Algos? Early backers and node runners have billions of Algos, they can easily dominate the decision process.
  2. Who decides, what will be the questions that the govenors can decide?
  3. Why is Algorand Foundation not publishing the early backers’ and relay node runners’ data, in the name of transparency?
  4. Why is Algorand Foundation not publishing the list of winners for the RNR Pilot and their proposal?
  5. How shall the Foundation handle the weakness inherent in the design of the Official Algorand Wallet? It is a centralized component, with a single point of failure.
  6. When will Algorand Inc. or Algorand Foundation publish a long term technical Roadmap for Algorand?
  7. When will Algorand Inc. or Algorand Foundation publish a long term financial Roadmap for Algorand?

I will answer your questions if you need:

  1. Because it is the only logical conclusion. The KYC backed account in the algorand mainnet is not applicable because dice has been thrown… Yes, early backers with their billions of algos do have majority and they will be governornors.
  2. Algorand foundation . The one and only

  5. They will not. In few years of development and testing the servers will be selectable. Probably when there will be more talks about increasing performance by alt nets.
  6. Never. They publish information in fair manner so that everybody who does not need to know first get the information in the same moment.
