Fee in Local Networks

Hello,
I was experimenting with local networks and run into an issue where the fee kept increasing? I did find that it increases mircoalgos per bytes.
1 -Now I need to send lots of transactions can I lower the min fee somehow?
2-What other ways can I reduce the amount of fee, flat fee, etc in case I am not able to change the minimum fee?

Are you using the suggested fee in your transaction or are you setting a fee based on bytes? Post an example code of one of your transactions.
