We are currently analyzing the Algorand blockchain and have a question regarding “keyreg” transactions.
We are working with a subset of data from the beginning until blockround 15’000’000.
Surprisingly, we count only 1’260 "key"registration transactions, but around 800’000 stakers received rewards.
Does anyone know how this mismatch / discrepancy is generated? Was there a change in the “keyreg” process?

There is no rewards for participating / staking on Algorand.
Participation rewards were distributed to all accounts whether they participated or not in the consensus.
