Currently relay node cost 200 to 300 euros to run and why does the foundation pays huge amount to relay nodes which infact is not needed.

That is easy… early backer wants to get rich 
1 billion USD split between few early backers per six months… who would not want to see that…
the only issue is that if they try to sell it, the price of algo will go below 0.01 USD/algo
but I doubt they will sell it fast or that they will compete on who sell more first

I guess we have to form a group so in governance phase such things don’t happen…it’s possible they could also face a lawsuit which happened to ripple earlier… and in all this mess only investors who buy are losing in the end
