Which wallet did you try to use?
Normally, if you see the transaction on algoexplorer.io, the transaction is properly recorded and you should see it on your wallet.
If this is not the case, please check the following common issues:
- The wallet you are using is under maintenance.
- There is a typo in the address.
- If the wallet is an exchange deposit address, you may have used the wrong address for the asset.
- Another transaction was performed afterwards emptying the wallet.
